My client, a PCT based North of London is looking for an Interim 18 Week Project Manager/Service Manager to come in and lead a review of the PCTs performance and ability to reach 18 weeks within Gynaecology.

Job Summary You will need to get down to the detail around capacity and demand and the need to review patient pathways. You would need to have experience in NHS service management, in the acute sector and start making a real impact from day one.

This piece of work is to last for around a month, with the hope that you could then possibly move into the role of Service Manager for Gynaecology. That would include routine service management duties - dealing with operational problems, complaints, budget management, staff management etc.
