A dynamic and commercially focused NHS Trust has a need for an Assistant Commercial Director to join it's developing team.

You will work with a dynamic and driven Director of Finance to support the commercial development and efficiency of the Trust and ensure the organisation is aware of it's business position as it would be in a Commercial organisation.

Main responsibilities will include:

- Being the lead agent for all negotiations and agreements of contracts for complex clinical services - Managing the associated financial risk for the Trust whilst maximising income and balancing this with the wider health economy - Develop performance management frameworks and improve performance as a whole throughout the Trust - Managing information systems and marketing strategies and plans to ensure the Trust is promoted within the health economy

You will be a highly experienced Commercially Focused individual and have a strong background of operating at a Senior Management/Board level within a large, complex organisation. You will either have worked within the NHS or Private Healthcare previously, or have worked closely in partnership with organisations in these areas. You will have a strong academic background and be the ability to facilitate change to improve the efficiency and delivery of services.
