Associate ABS - AUTOS

We are currently looking to recruit an Associate in its Structured Finance (securitisation) group in Europe. Based in London, this position will join the ABS business area.

The responsibilities include acting as primary ratings analyst on transactions that our client is asked to rate. As the primary ratings analyst you will be responsible for analysing all aspects of the transactions, in particular the credit, legal and structural risks. Over time you will also be expected to contribute towards the development of new criteria and its publication and dissemination.

The auto related transactions in the ABS group cover a range of assets including auto loans and leases, dealer floorplan and rental receivables. You will be expected to work on transactions in all of these asset classes across Europe, Russia and the CIS, the Middle East and Africa.

As a primary ratings analyst you will be expected to develop relationships with key clients (issuers, investors and intermediaries) within the respective business areas.

Qualifications and Experience

· Good first degree. Postgraduate degree (M.Sc. Or PhD) desirable. · Experience in credit risk / risk management. · Good understanding of the current auto finance market and its recent trends. · Good understanding of lending products; auto loans and leases, dealer floorplan and rental receivables. · The candidate must have relevant and up to the minute experience in the automotive finance or leasing industry.
