Associate in the European Covered Bond team

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join the Covered Bonds group in Europe at Associate level reporting to the Head of European Covered Bonds.

The responsibilities include acting as primary ratings analyst on transactions that our clien is asked to rate. As the primary ratings analyst you will be responsible for the rating of UK, Irish and Dutch covered bonds. Over time you will also be expected to contribute towards the development of new criteria and its publication and dissemination. Additionally, as primary ratings analyst you will be expected to develop relationships with key clients (issuers, investors and intermediaries) within the respective business areas and comment on market developments.

Main accountabilities will include: · Credit analysis of the underlying assets and their cash flows · Legal analysis of the transaction structure and legal framework · Presentation of findings to credit committee in order to assign ratings · Research into new developments and trends in the UK, Dutch and Irish markets

Qualifications and Experience

· Banking and or financial market experience · Knowledge of the covered bond and / or securitisation markets preferred · Excellent first degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent), second degree preferably. · The candidate would also have reviewed cash flow models previously.
