Role: Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst
Location: North London
Reports to: Head of Commercial

We are strongly placed in the following markets; Publishing, Fulfilment, Financial Services, Property, Corporate Services and Leisure Services.

The Role
A member of a team of business analysts responsible for building and maintaining financial and management information models used by the business to analyse potential new business launches and acquisitions.

Roles to include a supervisory element are available for stronger candidates

Key Responsibilities
1. Building sound financial and business models for new business launches, acquisitions, and change modelling.
2. Analyse & report operational metrics & key KPIs across the business
3. Deliver value added reporting, forecasting & planning to the Management Team on a financial & operational basis
4. Develop & continuously improve management information to ensure it is timely, accurate & relevant, & its production is efficient & flexible
5. Project analysis - Ad hoc project analysis, research as the business requires

Key Skills Required
1. Advanced Excel skills (e.g. vlookup, sumif, pivot tables, importing external data, macros)
2. Good numeracy skills and ability to interpret quantitative data
3. Developed communication skills across all levels of business
4. Strong financial understanding and commercial acumen
5. Ability to deliver to deadlines
6. Self motivated with good sense of humour
7. Some experience of SQL would be advantageous but is not essential.
