An opportunity exists to joining one of the UK's leading IT Services organisations as a Business Developer.
Your client marketplace will include major commercial and government organisations in the UK, covering National Security, Financial Services, Public Sector and Telecoms / Media.
Working within the Support Services Division the position will combine pre-sales activity, support proposals and active project transition of new services that move from development into live support. Key activities include:-
- Developing you own network of key internal contacts within areas of the Business you are responsible for.
- Identification of new sales propositions to support common themes within stakeholder groups
- Raising awareness of the of our client's capabilities
- Managing delivery of bids in response to client requests at each stage of the sales lifecycle.
- Building new and enhancing existing Service Architecture solutions
Experience / skills:-
- Experienced at working at Snr Management level
- Business Development / Pre-Sales capabilities
- Previous IT Infrastructure / application experience is ideal
- ITIL accredited is highly desirable
- Ability to obtain SC UK security clearance
This position is based out of their Surrey office but will require the successful candidate to travel to client sites on a regular basis.
