Bedford / Commensurate Senior Package

Our client has developed a unique integrated clean AD approach that provides a locally based waste food recycling option that also works in harmony with the farming environment. The AD technology is acknowledged by the government to be the most environmentally beneficial method for recycling waste food. Already the leading brand and largest operator in its sector with multiple sites, the business seeks a BDD for the next phase of growth. 

The role of BDD is intentionally not entirely blue printed rather the board has agreed detail under the following headers and the successful candidate will likely refine these within 3 months of arrival in post.

1. Primary deliverables of the role
In years 1 and 2 the newly appointed BDD will deliver / exceed the following hard measures both through his team and through personally managed cycles:
a. Local Authority Organic Waste Management Contracts ( x 10 Authorities on Sole or Pref. Basis)
b. Commercial Waste (50% Of available capacity filled through this route.)

    c. National Joint Ventures (10 Plants per annum agreed / approved)
d. Farm Plants (15 Plants per annum agreed / approved)
e. Water Industry (5 Contacts per annum agreed / approved)
f. Energy (Sale of energy production exceeds agreed quotas – agreed within 3 months of arrival))
g. Raise the brand awareness of the brand to the specific target audience by the agreed measure annually (precise target and measure to be agreed within 3 months of arrival.)
He / she will be free to determine the structure, constitution and head count of the team required to meet and exceed the above measures.
2. Essential characteristics of the ideal candidate
Demonstrable responsibility / experience in the following areas with above plan success in clear evidence throughout required:
Sales & Marketing Strategy, Proposition Development
Sales Management, Personal Sales & Marketing Execution
General Commercials

Demonstrable experience in the following again with above plan success in clear evidence:
Essential - Commercial JV’s, Waste, Food, Water Utilities
Desirable - Electricity/Power Generation or Clean Technology
Useful but not essential – Cleantech, New Tech, Agri, Fledgling etc
