The Company are an International Manufacturer of High Performance Coatings that are used in the Marine, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries
Reporting direct to MD
You will be responsible for appointing suitable distributors in new territories to increase the businesses global reach. In addition you will drive a marketing campaign in these territories.
You will be responsible for setting and agreeing sales goals for all approved distributors and thereafter managing the process to achieve/exceed these targets
You will also be expected to review and challenge our distribution channels in our mature territories, recommending improvements/changes
The role requires-
An oustanding understanding of the Marine Industry
A good understanding of Managing Distribution channels
Analytical and strategic skills
The ability to travel on a regular basis
Turnover £1M £5M+
10+ Personnel
Ability to offer Added Value Engineering both in sales and after-sales
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of the Marine, Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry
Good industry contact base
Self-motivated
Technical Sales Background (preferably coatings background)
Remuneration Package
Package will include the following elements:
£45k - £75k+ basic salary + Car, Benefits
25 days annual holiday

Performance related bonus
This role requires a Business Development Manager with a background in High Performance Coatings with a desire to work in the Marine market. The ideal candidate will build on the their experience whilst challenging the boundaries of present market coverage with the support of sales and technical engineers.
