This established global software company is the world leader in providing software tools to enable companies to develop and run software faster, at a lower cost, with improved quality and reliability. They are widely considered the technology leader in the market segments where they operate and they are investing heavily in new product development.
Their customers are typically involved with developing complex embedded or real-time applications and the list includes major names in the Aerospace, Defence, Telecommunications and Digital Consumer Products market place.
The company has significant growth potential in both existing accounts and in new market sectors. This role is due to the promotion of the existing incumbent due to outstanding success.
Responsibilities:
Your role will be to develop and manage the existing accounts and channels within the UK for a particular product family. The role will involve working closely with the general sales teams to provide specific expertise and focus to these high value products. You will work directly with customers selling complementary products and additional services such as training. This will involve building strong relationships at all levels within both customers and channel partners.
Skills and Experience:
You will have a mix of strong sales skills and a solid technical appreciation that will enable you to relate to customers at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the software development process and lifecycle.
You will have a track record of successful account management/business development from with a direct sales or partner environment.
You will have excellent communication skills and be highly motivated. This role offers ample scope for over-achievement and high earnings.
