London / £80000 per annum + £8500 car + potential 200PERCENT OTE
Our client is one of the worlds biggest brands and a giant in the communications and media space. Following the launch of one of the most exciting new products in the market they are actively looking for a senior business development manager on a permanent basis. The role is within an extremely exciting and entrepreneurial part of the business and will potentially re-define how people around the world experience the internet.
The Responsibilities of this role include: identifying and closing B2B sales for new service offering pursuing leads in target segments and open doors to potential business partners across the globe supporting head of business development in identifying and closing content portfolio gaps and expanding geographic reach of B2C service and B2B customer and partner-base identifying , negotiating and closing commercial content, distribution, technology licensing and co-marketing partnership opportunities in support of global strategy identifying and establishing clear path to revenue and profitability identifying potential competitors, channel back market trends and provide input on pricing by validating different models with B2B partners
Candidates will have sales and business development background that preferably includes time spent in the telecommunications, digital publishing and new media industry. In order to be considered for this role, applicants must have :
strong experience in business development, sales, and/or account management with substantial experience in EMEA region successfully drove substantial revenue for a service business through aggressive early-stage partnering and B2B sales internet service, consumer software and B2B experience start-up as well as blue chip experience ideally an MBA from top business school
