BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, ELECTRONIC SECURITY (electronic security – ACCESS CONTROL, INTRUDER ALARMS, IP AND VIDEO).

Location: Home based. To cover the UK. Ideally centrally located.

Salary: £45-50k basic, + 60-70kOTE realistic although it is uncapped, car (or allowance), laptop, pension and mobile.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – ELECTRONIC SECURITY:

A superb opportunity to spearhead the development a leading security service integrator. My client is a globally renowned organisation and has made an established name for itself in the UK in recent years. To develop further they now require a dynamic and self-motivated BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to cover their operations in the UK. The role is a new position, which will report directly into the UK Sales Director.

The role will be mainly external, with four days out of five out on the road meeting clients and customers and one day home based. The role will be split between new business (50%) and existing accounts (50%) and will sell into both commercial SME and MNE markets. They have key accounts within government, transport, retail and industrial sectors. The standing of the company in the industry and accounts that they already have on board make it very likely that you will have a warm start.

   

Candidate – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – CCTV/ACCESS CONTROL:

• The role is national with a key emphasis on winning new major national accounts as well as maintaining the accounts already on board. Location is not a major issue, however, ideally you will be centrally located to meet customers and clients on approximately four days out of five. On occasions you will have to report to the UK head office in Hertfordshire.

• You will need at least 4 years senior sales experience from a security related industry, ideally CCTV and Access and at least two years experience of dealing with high-end MNE accounts. You will need to be able to sell and deal all levels.

• Initially there will be a large degree of repeat business meaning it should be a relatively comfortable first year. It is an exciting role for a worldwide corporation and progression within the company is certainly achievable for an ambitious candidate. A proven track record of success is critical.
