The Role
Due to continued success and growth in both old and emerging markets, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Business Development Manager. As Business Development Manager you will have full responsibility for the effective sales and marketing of the company's services throughout the UK. You will also have an overall responsibility for the continued development of numerous key and major accounts worth up to £3 million, as well as the strategic targeting of new and profitable business relationships.
The successful applicant will
Possess a proven track record of business to business sales and management, ideally in selling capital equipment with a high order value into the manufacturing or packaging sector.
You will be given a high level of autonomy so effective time management is a required skill.
You will have experience of building relationships with senior commercial and technical decision makers and ideally possess strong personal contacts with key players in the pharmaceutical, FMCG and manufacturing market places.
You will be able to source, tender for and acquire new business to compliment your impressive bank of well established accounts.
