A Cambridge based IT Solutions organisation are now looking to expand their sales team and require a Business Development Manager to undertake a New Business Development role with a strong focus on the Government market.
If you are currently working in the IT Solutions sales space and achieving or over-achieving on your targets we would be keen to speak with you. Ideally you will possess experience of selling these technologies into the Government market however it will not exclude you from consideration if you have strong sales experience in another market.
Essentially you will be a target driven and a confident sales person. You will be comfortable with cold-calling and have the ability to self-manage as well as manage a team. Some knowledge of web based software would also be advantageous.
The role will entail the sales of web based solutions to the government market, sales cycle is typically 3-6 months and average sales are typically between £20-150k. The role is fully supported by technical pre-sales, marketing and support teams and benefits include a laptop, phone and car allowance.
