Our client, a highly reputed real estate company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit a top notch CEO who will play a key role in the business with the objective of ensuring success and sustained growth of the business.
Reporting to the Chairman & the Board along with other senior professionals, the incumbent will bear a full P & L responsibility of the company as well as he will be handling the entire operation of the company. As per business objectives and long & short terms business plan, the job-holder will build up a remarkable business team, which will be responsible for the business plan implementation as per over-all business objective of the company.
A significant part of the job is to analyze the projects profitability from technical, commercial and marketing angles and include financial & investment analysis / modeling and evaluation for all present & future projects. The person therefore needs to demonstrate a solid technical & financial back ground as well as in depth knowledge in the area of business-plan, marketing, pricing, project management, floating tenders, tendering legislations and pricing. In addition, the job holder will need to build up a solid & long term business relationship with third-parity entities; such as Authorities, suppliers, contractors, consultants & any other potential bodies.
The incumbent must have a thorough understanding of the real estate market both in the GCC and internationally. By being aware of potential competitors around the globe as well as in the region, you will be responsible to position & promote new projects as well as existing ones internationally. The market dynamics demands the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to business problems and opportunities. In this environment, the job-holder would need to recommend and employ an effective business structure. He should have the inherent skill to build up excellent relationship with your subordinates and keep them abreast of international market developments.
The ideal candidate will have related background but should be very sound in financial concepts. A MS or MBA is a must. At least ten years work experience in a managerial level of which five years should be at a similar seniority.
