Provides comprehensive leadership and direction for the integrated development, roll-out and deployment of the Fixed Network elements, including FTTH/GPON Projects in the region. Guides the development of policies, standards and operating practices for the Fixed Network function, including FTTH/GPON Project and manages their implementation. Leads the planning, development, testing, commissioning and stabilization of new/enhanced Fixed Network infrastructure, services and systems. Manages interfaces and reviews with the consultants, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that consistent and appropriate technical support is available, as required.

Job Requirements: * Bachelor`s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent, from a reputed University. * 8-10 years in leading the development, planning and implementation of Fixed Network infrastructure, including FTTH/GPON technologies, preferably in a large and reputable Telecom Company.

Competencies: * Expert level knowledge in telecom systems involving lead technologies from global majors, specifically in the planning, operations, maintenance and quality control of Fixed Network elements, including FTTH/GPON technologies. * Knowledge of IP Technology. * Expert knowledge of tendering and contract procedures. * Ability to manage high level interactions with vendors, suppliers, contractors etc., * Skill in long-range planning; managing people and work processes and establishing Engineering standards and specifications for Fixed Network infrastructure, including FTTH/GPON. * General Management capabilities and exposure to the major functional areas impacting the management Engineering functionalities- Finance, Purchasing, Contracts, Materials Management, HR etc. * High level Project Management skills.
