Provides strategic direction for the development and growth of the mobile systems and services. Establishes Network and Services Performance benchmarks consistent with ?industry best practices? and drives improvement strategies. Provides effective technical leadership in sourcing, evaluating, implementing and upgrading the hardware and software components of the GSM network to meet the capacity requirements and service quality standards. Leads the tendering, negotiation and contract preparation activities.

Job Requirements: Bachelor`s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent, from a reputed University. 8-10 years in leading development projects in the Mobile Core and Access Network functionalities, preferably in a large and reputable Telecom Company. Specialized training and knowledge in Mobile Systems technologies and services.

Competencies: * Expert level knowledge in Mobile Logistics, Capacity Planning and International Project Support. * Ability to establish and maintain high level interaction with vendors, suppliers, contractors etc., * Expertise in frequency planning for Mobile systems and services; ability to establish Engineering standards and specifications. * General Management capabilities and exposure to the major functional areas impacting the management Engineering functionalities- Finance, Purchasing, Contracts, Materials Management, HR etc. * High level Project Management skills.
