Our Client is a leading premier storage vendor and due to their continued success now requires a Channel Development Manager. The position will see the successful candidate tasked with building a credible, successful business relationship with a defined Tier 1 partner such as Computacenter, SCC or Sun and to subsequently manage all levels within the accounts in order to develop and sustain the maximum level of profitable business achievable for our Clients products and services. The ideal person for this role can demonstrate a high track record of sales achievement within the Partner environment or account management environment. You will possess a strong level of product and technical understanding
of Storage related products and the market competitors, shakers and movers. You will need to be commercially credible with excellent relationship and organisational skills. In addition you need to be a strong, confident communicator with excellent presentation skills, comfortable operating/presenting at all levels including board level. A self-motivated person capable of working effectively without close supervision whilst making sound business decisions, you have the ability to work alone but also as part of a team using knowledge sharing to the best advantage for the team. It is likely that you are currently working for a competitive vendor/major distributor within the Storage market and are looking for a defined and rewarding career move.
