Our client is an emerging financial organisation which is dedicated to the economic development of Iraq and its transition from a centralised economy to a free market economy. This client is now looking for a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide executive oversight of all financial operations for activities in Iraq and the UK and other international sites including Dubai and Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities...

• Establish a financial control regime that will provide tight financial controls of a multitude of projects as well as establishing an internal auditing regime.
• Analyse macro and micro economic information to develop a sound appreciation for the unique economic environment of Iraq.
• Coordinate project financing with funding sources to include appropriate financial reporting to those funding sources.

Key Skills...

• Fully accredited Chartered Accountant with experience in International Finance.
• Experience in the City with a good knowledge of hedge funds, infrastructure funds, VC and fund management.
• Ability to work closely with different cultures as well as having a good knowledge of emerging markets and transitional economies.
