Communications Senior Manager

Purpose: To manage and supervise the activities of the Communication (advertising) function and Officers, ensuring that work is done professionally and in line with laid down policies and procedures.

Accoutabilities: Oversees the activities of all sections within the department Prepares departmental budget, identifying operational and personnel requirements to achieve departmental objectives Manages functional projects ensuring they are delivered on time, in budget and to required quality standards Assists in developing policy statements within own sphere of expertise Supervises the work of teams and develop training plans for staff and assist in the performance objective process

Negotiates and agrees with superior the results they will achieve and deliver those results in order to meet the needs of the business Coaches supervisor and Unit heads on appropriate corrective measures for improving performance. Communicates and interprets work procedures and policies to staff ensuring their compliance Plans and strategize marketing communications in close liaison with all members of the campaign team to ensure effective and efficient delivery. Negotiates and manage service level agreement with third party firms (advertising, outdoor and media agencies). Communicates with other departments to resolve problems and expedite work Assists with the research of different communication methods and their associated cost.
