Contract Manager c.£50k + bonus + bensThames Valley

Our client is a well respected and highly successful communication and information solutions company who operate within a clear market niche. Their business is currently expanding and they are embarking upon significant growth.

The Role We are looking for an exceptional Contract Manager with a good broad skill set to join an existing team and really add value. This is a customer facing role with a good breadth of exposure and a lot of challenge!

Essentially, the role is responsible for the commercial viability and profitability of the a large scale public sector customer project. The Contract Manager will confirm contract conditions with both the customer Management team and the internal delivery teams. The Contract Manager will ensure compliance with policy and process and legal and regulatory requirements, working with the procurement team and internal Lawyers. The Contract Manager will also ensure compliance with all contractual Milestones.

You * Ideally at least 10 years experience of commercial contract management with clients in a Communications and/or Information Technology services and solutions business, preferably for public sector customers. * Similar experience of managing head contracts and supplier contracts * The successful negotiation of contracts of value in excess of £10million * The ability and experience to lead complex negotiations with clients and suppliers * A formal commercial contract or legal qualification and membership of appropriate professional bodies * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * The ability to work within a project delivery environment * Able to work to defined deadlines * The ability to successfully negotiate and influence at all levels
