This global manufacturing organisation has created a worldwide presence over the last ten years and now employs more than 30,000 people in over 30 countries with worldwide sales in excess of 4billion per annum. The Groups Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operation combines more than fifty successful business divisions which own some of the leading brands in their market sector generating annual sales in excess of 1.5bn.
The EMEA group now requires an ambitious and driven Pricing Manager to lead the roll out of the Groups pricing program throughout the EMEA regions in line with the Groups overall EMEA marketing strategy. You will be required to define all key performance indicators of price management and establish the process for the monitoring and coordination of pricing process across the regions.
Reporting directly to the EMEA Marketing Director, you will also work closely with the EMEA purchasing team in order to proactively integrate purchasing intelligence into pricing decisions and will follow up on competitor moves relevant to pricing. You will also be responsible for monitoring and coordinating pricing activities at regional level and ensure that bottom line targets are delivered.
Candidates will ideally have a strong academic background with at least 3 years of professional experience in international business within a role directly responsible for the companys overall pricing and marketing strategies, ideally from within a consumer goods background. You will be a capable leader, with the presence and ability to motivate, inspire and influence at the very highest level. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking are needed to develop and execute strategies in a fast moving, international environment. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an outstanding track record in delivering pricing management and possess significant experience of implementing pricing strategies. Knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
The Groups EMEA head office is located within the UK however candidates will be required to travel extensively and can be based anywhere within the EMEA region on a full time basis.
