A EUROPEAN SALES MANAGER is required for my client who is recognised as being one of the leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) companies in the home communications technology field.
With global coverage and a comprehensive offering of services, my client has combined their expertise in mechanics to provide their customers with assistance in the full lifecycle of contract electronic manufacturing, from development of products to after-market services. They aspire to be the number one integrated electronics manufacturing services (IEMS) company.
They provide their clients with total end-to-end solutions consisting of product development services, supply chain management, NPI, manufacturing, and after-market services. They specialise in products including Personal Communications products such as mobile phones and their parts, Home Communications products such as set-top boxes and electronics for flat screen TVs as well as Communications Networks products such as base-stations, tower-top amplifiers, and microwave systems. With a vast offering of services my client has structured themselves to target key customers and further develop their market share; due to this they require a European Sales Manager to join their business.
For the successful candidate this role will be a varied, challenging and rewarding. You will be required to manage European business and sales. Working in partnership with key individuals to develop current business whilst developing additional clients to ensure agreed revenue budgets are met.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Management of all aspects of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) Sales across Europe.
Win new targeted customers with good profitability.
Developing sales pipeline with good quality sales cases.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities for Home Communications.
Present consultative selling solutions that convey the companies Value Proposition.
Develop and implement successful account strategy plan.
Sales Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting as needed.
Utilize the Sales Process to qualify accounts, quote, negotiate contracts and close the business.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
Manage a sales pipeline to deliver required new sales.
Managing a sales pipeline of multiple target accounts to meet revenue goals.
Develop high level and multi-level customer relationships.
Communicate the customers real needs to all the internal stakeholders.
Use time and territory customer management to compress the sales cycle time.
Ensure timely response to customer RFIs and RFQs.
Essential Requirements
Degree in business or engineering
At least 10 years of work experience on relevant field
Understanding of the Home Communications industry
Working knowledge of manufacturers of Home Communications products such as set-top boxes and electronics for flat screen TVs as well as Communications Networks products such as base-stations, tower-top amplifiers, and microwave systems.
Experience in EMS sales process
Good knowledge on EMS operations
Experience on customer interface
Good knowledge on the financial aspect of EMS
Must be able to work and communicate (in Fluent English) from home office if remote
