Specification
We are looking for an Executive Director level sales executive to cover EMEA accounts. This individual could potentially lead a team of sales people. The sales executive will be responsible for selling all products. An understanding of the investment process is important. Clients include fund managers at institutional fund management groups, hedge funds, pension funds, investment bank proprietary trading desks etc.
The successful candidate will have a reasonable degree of technical ability in order to allow them to operate in a solution driven sales environment. It would be helpful if the candidates have an understanding of products or have utilized the products in the past.

- Ability to effectively involve appropriate colleagues in projects regardless of functional, geographic, and business lines

    - Track record of excelling in an environment of ambiguity by quickly adapting behavior and work methods to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills – ability to articulate the most substantive issues clearly and concisely verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
- Ability to prepare and logically organize written materials in a manner that is readily understood by the reader
- Team-player with the maturity and presence to lead product focused multi-functional teams, and present to senior management and clients
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
- A self starter and highly motivated, ability to work individually and within a team
 

 

Experience

- Minimum of 8 years sales experience with a proven record of accomplishment. 5-10 years of experience in the financial service industry
- Minimum of 3 years managerial experience
- Deep understanding and experience of working with major international financial institutions; a solid understanding of the global financial markets
- Analytic and quantitative skills

Candidates may also come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Asset Management
- Investment Consulting
- Sell Side Research or Sales
- Plan Sponsor

Qualifications

- MBA, Masters Degree and/or CFA preferred, but not essential
- Second language preferred, but not essential
