My client is a large CENTRAL GOVERNMENT organisation based in the Coventry area. Due to a senior member of the finance team being seconded onto a project for an 11 month period, they are currently looking to recruit to the key role of FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER.

Your main responsibilities will include;

To provide expert commercial and financial advice to the CEO / Director Assist the CEO / Director with the formulation of business strategic and operational plans Recommend actions based on the provision of accurate and timely business analysis, forecasting and management reports i.e. no surprises. To act as the business manager for the relevant Directorates

supporting both the business and the Group Finance Director. To ensure that all elements of financial affairs of the Directorates are effectively run and managed. The role will act as a business partner and be based within the relevant business / directorate.

You will be a qualified accountant with 5 years post qualified experience that include professional, technical and commercial exposure. Previous experience in the public/not for profit sectors would be an advantage although not essential.
