Mindpool Consulting has been engaged by a leading venture capital & private equity backed renewable technology firm to source an entrepreneurial Finance Director to assist them in realising the potential of this rapidly growing organisation.
The opportunity
There is an immediate need for an entrepreneurial, commercial Finance Director with extensive experience of complex project & structured finance deals to join this rapidly growing business within the renewables / clean technology space. This is a genuine number two role with the opportunity for wealth creation. You will be reporting directly to the board, working closely with the Managing Director and driving the growth of the firm.
Skills & experience needed
As a senior finance executive, you will have extensive experience of working with start-up, entrepreneurial and rapidly growing business.
You will be experience of close deals and completing on transactions (fund raising, IPOs / MBOs / MBIs / trade sales etc).
You will have an excellent knowledge of structured or project finance and have worked on complex deals (such as those in the energy sector).
You will likely be a qualified / chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive experience across a number of industry sectors and any experience of working within the energy / oil & gas / renewables / manufacturing sectors would obviously be seen as a plus.
You will have experience of working with VC/ PE backed businesses and understand the requirements of a VC or private equity fund.
You will be comfortable working in a rapidly changing & highly entrepreneurial environment.
