A food manufacturing business operating as part of a multi-billion pound turnover group of companies is searching for an experienced Finance Manager to join and lead the well established finance function. Operating across the UK and Europe, this specific business unit enjoys long running success with many of the UK's major retailers.

The successful applicant will enjoy a high profile within the business, and an interesting mix between significant contribution to the commercial decision making process and the development of accounting systems and processes.

As number one in finance you will provide leadership and direction to part qualified and junior accountants, and be responsible for the timely and accurate production of management and financial accounts. In addition to your regular duties you will also be tasked with reviewing all existing accounting processes, with the autonomy to change and develop working practises as you see fit.

To be considered you must be a qualified accountant with at least a couple of years post qualification experience and preferably have held a similar role with a business operating within the same industry.
