This Listed Trading PLC is looking to strengthen the senior management team with the appointment of a Group Financial Controller.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, your primary areas of responsibility will be to implement change across the finance department and create a central reporting function across the group. This will include enhancing and developing a new management reporting structure by creating a financial framework that will be able to support the demands of a rapidly growing business. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including statutory accounts; create robust internal controls

and optimisation of systems. You will be conversant with Company requirements and IAS rules. Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP and SOX compliance regulations advantageous. You will also forge strong relationships with the divisional finance teams together with externals including the banks and auditors.
It is likely that you will be a degree educated Qualified ACA, ACCA and you may occasionally be required to take short trips to Europe, the US and the Far East.
