My client, a large NHS Acute Trust is seeking a interim Financial Controller for a 6 month period while they recruit to the substantive post. A great opportunity to work at a progressing hospital which is working towards becoming a foundation trust.
Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial accounting function, including the staff, managing the Trust’s

cash, producing annual accounts, and enforcing Trust financial regulations. The post holder has responsibility for the operation and development of the Trust’s finance system.

The postholder will liaise with the internal and external auditors, acting as the main contact for audit. You will oversee the operation and reporting of the Trust’s charitable funds and report on the Trust’s capital programme.
