Our client is a £70million turnover subsidiary of a successful global organisation and is one of the largest providers of services and repairs to heavy duty machinery. They are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic Financial Director who will report directly to the Managing Director with dotted line responsibility to the Finance Manager based in the overseas Parent company. Holding a key management role the successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 5 with the main remit of the position being to add value through excellent financial controls and reduce costs within the organisation.

The Financial Director will be responsible for the monthly and yearly financial reporting, costings, stock control, budgets and due diligence of any prospective purchases. As an experienced accountant of a similar sized business, previously holding a Financial Controller or Manager role, you will understand the importance of robust financial controls and a fully integrated front and back office IT system. With recent manufacturing environment, you will be able to assist with the overall strategic development of the company.
