GENERAL MANAGER - LEADING LONDON HOSPITAL Salary Up to £50,000, bonus + car + excellent benefits
A global support services company has a new exciting and challenging opportunity in a leading London Hospital. An experienced General Manager is needed to manage the soft services: Catering (Retail and Patient Feeding), Hostessing, Portering, Domestic Services etc. The main purpose is to plan, organise, co-ordinate, manage and motivate individuals within the team to achieve the business objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
* Efficient financial management ensuring that all targets are achieved * Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are monitored, measured and managed. * Manage clients proactively, ensuring their expectations are exceeded * Recruitment and management of subordinates, and personal development, reward and recognition, appraisals, health and safety and communication of shared goals.
The successful candidate will have preferably:
- HND/Degree in Hospitality Management/Business Studies or relevant qualification. - Full Membership of HCIMA - Basic Health and Safety Certificate - Basic or Advanced Food Hygiene Qualification - Three years management experience in a healthcare environment. - Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel. - Good levels of numeracy with an ability to understand and construct budgets - Proven background in managing catering services
