A Head of Finance and Resources is needed to work in a start-up organisation based in Stratford.

Working with a regeneration-based charity, the Head of Finance and Resources will have the chance to implement policies and procedures for the areas of Finance, IT and HR as well as taking a hands-on approach to line managing members of staff and the production of accounts.

With a turnover of nearly £3million and a small staff, this new organisation could present an exciting and challenging opportunity to the right candidate.

Working to establish a business model and sound financial foundations for the organisation, the successful applicant will exhibit: -A proven background of setting up successful finance departments within other young organisations -Sound knowledge of accounting practices and procedures and the ability to design and implement new procedures -Experience of line managing staff from diverse business areas

Experience of working in similar jobs within the public sector would be a definite advantage.
