Job Title:IT Manager / Manufacturing Systems Manager. Location:Northern Aberdeenshire Salary:£50-60K Basic + Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to undertake a IT Manager / Manufacturing Systems Manager role with our client, a well known and highly regarded manufacturer.

The Role The main objectives of the position are to provide IT and Manufacturing Systems Management to four locations in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. The primary duties of the role will include the IT management of all four sites (including all IT infrastructure, servers, desktop PC`s, financial and ERP software, etc) and the Technical Management of their Manufacturing systems.

They have recently won a number of high-profile contracts in competition with some of the largest players in their industry. Their Board are keen to upgrade the company`s IT infrastructure and implement new systems to ensure their rapid growth is helped and not hindered by technology.

Key Experience Required Suitable candidates must have held an IT Management role as well as experience supporting or managing Manufacturing Systems. This person will have excellent people management skills and have no issues explaining highly technical issues to Board level contacts. This role will involve identifying short, medium and long-term improvements to their existing infrastructure and presenting these as a coherent strategy.

Candidates should indicate their willingness to undertake daily travel to Northern Aberdeenshire or to ability relocate to the area.
