IT Online Delivery Manager - Up to £72K, London

IT Online Delivery Manager needed to manage the successful delivery of Web projects and programmes and to lead and manage a technical team of (20) developers, business analysts and testers for a leading IT Online branded publishing company.

The Commercially Savvy IT Online Delivery Manager must have experience in leading and managing a technical IT online team of developers, testers and business analysts and be competent in a range of technical skills

The IT Online Delivery Manager must have a thorough understanding of cutting edge technologies and current web and CMS technologies particularly used for Web/online/publishing areas, and must have Java environment experience, Tomcat, Apache, Java/J2EE, , etc. Any experience in the following is useful: CMS, Agile environment, Rhythmics, RSS feeds, SQL, C#, Web-services, Mobile portals.

Ideally be from a publishing/online background, with an IT Degree/ background with proven experience in delivering programmes for branded Web/Online Services, with experience in online publishing /online retailing, managing multiple programmes and have an awareness of the future potential for the online space.

The IT Online Delivery manager must be able to demonstrate their Web Project Management, and large scale website implementation experience and experience in managing project budgets ranging from £0.5M (min).

This role will require the IT Online Delivery Manager to build relationships with internal clients and 3rd parties and partners, ensure the team delivery fit for purpose solutions, hardware and software upgrades and implementation, manage resources, develop and monitor annual budgets, work to strict deadlines and leading and developing the IT online team.
