My blue-chip client has a role within their procurement team for an IT Sourcing Specialist to manage one of their major accounts.

The prime responsibility of the role is to manage the strategy to ensure that both my client, and their customer, mutually benefit from the supplier relationship by delivering competitiveness, responsiveness and impeccable service levels.

You will own and manage this relationship and have direct responsibility for leading the procurement for nominated bids.

Key duties include: *Influencing the procurement strategy for the provision of IT services (hardware, software and licensing) *Proactively managing suppliers *Managing due diligence and transition of third party contracts *Identifying cost saving opportunities *Providing consultancy to bid teams *Providing support to supplier owners to help resolve commercial issues and disputes

Candidates applying must have experience of procuring all areas of IT and have excellent negotiation, tendering and contracting skills in a commercial environment. You will be a strong relationship builder and have exquisite communication skills.
