Our client is a market leader in the design and development of software for the Transport and Distribution sectors. Their clients include major household brand names, together with top players in the 3PL sector. Focusing on developing products that assist customers with improving transport and service efficiencies, they continue to expand and grow their business and build on their own service and product excellence.
To support this growth, they are now seeing a Technical IT Project Manager who will be responsible for linking together customers, engineering and software development teams. The role will be responsible for the scoping and development of bespoke customer products and researching new solutions to support ongoing customer demands in the UK and overseas.
Applicants should be proven IT Project Managers with Prince 2, APMP or ITIL accreditation with experience in the transport and / or logistics industry. Ideally, experience will also include budgetary and P & L management, sales, project management, business analysis, product and system testing, solutions design and development and implementation.
Excellent customer facing and relationship building skills are essential.
