Bracknell / £50000 - £70000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits
The Role: This is a brand new role responsible and accountable for ensuring the highest level of IT services are delivered to the business and it`s customers. The role is both internal and external facing and you would be the single point of contact and interface between the business and the IT organisation. You role is to ensure that IT and their functions provide the appropriate infrastructure and IT services required in order to fulfil the customer contract to cost and to required quality levels. This includes the dynamic planning, scheduling, measurement of IT services and their delivery against Operations Level Agreement to provide those agreed levels of IT service, seeking continuous and proactive improvement to IT services for the benefit of the business and, ultimately, the customer.
This is a challenging, demanding and highly rewarding role, joining a small team of experts in a high profile team but with full responsibility and accountability for a defined business aligned group of services.
The Person: We are looking for an experience IT management professional who has a well rounded but not necessarily indepth technical understanding of the underpinning technologies within a technical environment ie Unix, DBA and applications, and how they correlate. You will also have strong analytical and problem solving skills and be highly customer facing, able to exhibit tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive customer issues. Some experience with ITIL would be preferred. The ideal candidate will also be a results focused 'Completer / Finisher`.
