Our client is a well respected and highly successful communication and information solutions company who operate within a clear market niche. Their business is currently expanding and they are planning significant growth.

The Role

The role holder will be responsible for : *Leading the development of complex multi-million pound IT/ Telecoms solutions *To lead the development of sound commercial propositions *To play a key role in the delivery of the solution to the client *To work with colleagues in marketing, sales and engineering to develop repeatable solutions *To work closely with bid managers to ensure solutions are accepted by the client as technically innovative and commercially viable *To provide leadership to a team of twelve Solutions Architects and to develop effective processes and procedures for the Solutions Team *To work with third party companies to build best of breed solutions using the most innovative technologies

The Person *Strong technical background in IT or telecoms services and solutions design *Proven leadership skills with the ability to bring the best out of a highly skilled team *Good commercial understanding with ability to participate in commercial negotiations and bids activity *Demonstrable experience of working with large key clients *Good project and programme management skills *Ideally degree qualified or with equivalent experience
