Part of a major group, our client has a reputation of excellence in manufacturing a broad range of quality FMCG products. Following a period of highly positive change and a number of promotions within their UK flagship manufacturing site in Humberside they seek the above key appointment on an 3 month interim basis.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the job holder will be fully accountable for managing the asset availability / reliability function. The job holder will drive standard of maintenance practice forward and will be set key deliverables to achieve; driving KPIs through a team of 14 Engineers and Technicians.
Successful candidates will possess a strong engineering management background, including extensive maintenance management experience from a 'best in class` FMCG (or related) manufacturing environment. You will possess a strong leadership pedigree and a track record of managing and developing teams coupled with a hands-on style which has delivered results. Candidates will be available to commence a contract immediately or by the middle of October 2008.
