Do you have the drive and self motivation to lead a procurement project across 10 client organisations? Are you able to put in place a uniform strategic procurement strategy that meets the needs of these clients?

Your role will require detailed interaction with providers of health services across the NHS, Private Sector and Third Sector organisations to ensure a thorough understanding of the provision environment and an ability to persuade and influence the market dynamics into service redesigns and modernisation based on health outcomes.

The skill set required includes:

*To be familiar with e-tendering practises and systems

*Understanding of OJEU procurement processes and guidelines

*Be able to run a procurement process managing the project, stakeholders and deliverables

*Have an understanding on Contract Law

*Ensuring market and customer focus, delivering relevant products and services that directly and measurably improve the quality, lower the costs, and improve the equity of health services that are commissioned

*Development and support of the project framework based on the type of project, including key deliverables, process steps, plans, resource requirements and financial aspects

*To work with internal and external organisations to guide them on the areas of work required, to collate the information gathered and apply this information to any advice provided to commissioners

*Understanding the global and longer-term strategies and prioritising and planning short and medium term milestones and action plans

*To work closely with NHS internal functions such as Finance and HR to ensure appropriate procedures are followed and that the organisation operates efficiently
