Our client is a leading pharmaceutical services company operating on a worldwide basis. They specialise in providing various pharmaceutical services including chemical manufacturing, laboratory services, analytical services, and process chemistry solutions. They are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager / International Sales Manager covering manufacturing industries on a global basis. The location of this position is flexible and will involve extensive travel.

Responsibilities include:

*Business development on a global basis liaising with agents in Europe and USA. *Uncovering new manufacturing opportunities and breaking into new accounts. *Targeting pharmaceutical / fine chemicals manufacturing. *Working alongside other departments to compile winning bids and proposals. *Working towards targets and growing the business. *International travel to develop relationships and seek out new custom manufacturing opportunities.

It is essential that candidates possess previous experience within a similar Business Development role encompassing specialist knowledge of custom manufacturing within the pharmaceuticals sector. Ideally you will be educated to Degree level within Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Successful applicants will demonstrate experience of developing new business on an international basis through face-to-face selling and presenting at a senior level.

You will receive an attractive salary in the region of £45,000 pa plus Bonus + Benefits including 25 days holiday, private medical insurance and pension scheme.
