Position: Investment Writer · · Write monthly investment commentary for our monthly factsheets. · Gather, analyse and write of all marketing information required to complete RFP?s/ RFI?s from consultants and potential clients and other technical documents such as marketing reports, company profiles and quarterly macro reports in a timely manner. · Interact with sales, portfolio managers and senior management to gather this information. · Update and maintain the consultant and RFP databases. · Write copy for press releases, coordinating with other departments within the firm. · Write articles for inclusion the various hedge fund publications. · Review annual operational due diligence documents from investment team. Requirements: · Specifically understand information needed by UK Institutional / Consultant clients

in terms of Fund of Hedge Funds. · Previous experience in having written for these markets before. · University degree required (business, finance or marketing preferred) · Complete fluency in both written and spoken English ? European language such as German or Spanish would be preferable. Strong analytical skills when handling statistical information with ability to calculate and understand hedge fund performance returns. · Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail. · Excellent writing skills required. · Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills. · Ability to work to tight deadlines. · Client-focused individual accountable for own projects. · Committed team player with a positive attitude. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
