Our client is a global business and IT management consulting firm. At present they are recruiting for a hands on Java Consultantsto join their Financial Services practice. Specifically they are looking for a Technical Consultant who will develop technical solutions for clients either on client site or working closely with the client. You will be recognised as proficient in enterprise level Java / J2EE.

Requirements

• Proven commercial Java J2EE development experience
• Experience of server-side Java is essential.
• Commercial EJB experience.
• Experience of at least one relational database preferably Oracle or Sybase and operating system either UNIX or NT.
• Full development life cycle experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of a software development methodology and structured approaches to development.

• Experience of working with Agile / XP methodology is desirable.
• Working knowledge of capital markets, retail banking or insurance industry is essential
