Maintenance Manager Pharmaceutical Industry - South Coast c.£55,000 + excellent benefits package + relocation allowance

Provide World Class management and development of site wide maintenance activities across all disciplines. Driving reduction in energy costs and usage as well as ensuring that all Statutory, Corporate and site standards are adopted within the maintenance strategies. Building and developing a diverse team with strong leadership and incorporating Operational Excellence as a toolset to deliver a stretching KPI focused planned maintenance service.

Key activities include:

1.Manage and advise subordinates, provide support to all staff as necessary. 2.Initiating and implementing energy reduction programmes and projects from inception to completion 3.Ensure ?continuous improvement? of mechanical services plant by the implementation of modern practices. 4.Develop and maintain Engineering specifications and

quality standards. 5.Implement and deliver HandS initiatives. 6.Prepare/authorise Project Requests, SOPs, EPRs, LFAs and AHTs as appropriate. 7.Prepare reports as instructed by senior management. 8.Act as Company representative to external organisations (Insurance Co., Utility Suppliers, and other professional representative`s, FM etc.) 9.Advise departmental heads of the engineering implications of their development plans and strategies. 10.Develop, maintain and control maintenance budgets. 11.Initiate and advise on utility service contracts. 12.Planning and financial control of Utilities capital projects. 13.Carry out technical investigations and produce appropriately detailed reports as directed by the Facilities Engineering Manager. 14.To be available for callouts after normal working hours. 15.To produce, update or assist in the production of Engineering Standing Orders and Standard Operating Procedures.
