Manufacturing General Manager

Our client is an industry leading FMCG business supporting a range of major customers from their manufacturing facilities across the UK. To facilitate the efficient and effective running of this plant they now seek to appoint a high calibre Manufacturing Manager/Plant Manager/General Manager to oversee day to day operations.

From developing and implementing of operational processes through to the journey to World-class manufacturing, you will be responsible for quality, labour, HSandE and general house keeping of the facility. With a straight forward and hands on approach to management you expect the very best performance from your facility and your team.

You are an experienced General Manager with a track record of managing high performing teams within a fast paced, quality conscious production environment such as Food or FMCG. Experience of lean manufacturing is important but it will be your down to earth style and your ability to inspire teams that will be decisive.
