Our client is a highly innovative and well respected ambient food manufacturer with multiple locations throughout the UK. Manufacturing both own label products, and owning some of the UK's instantly recognisable brands, this business has a strong heritage of providing high quality products with a consistent message. 

In the pursuit of continued development, the business is looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Manufacturing Manager to form part of its senior team at a key strategic manufacturing facility. Reporting to a General Manager, this individual will be responsible for driving the change agenda through the site, raising standards of performance, and challenging the status quo to improve both manufacturing and personnel capabilities. Working closely with the senior management team, the manufacturing manager is responsible for driving a cohesive and robust manufacturing strategy across the site in alignment with the business strategy.

The right person will currently be operating at Manufacturing Manage level, or be of a particularly high calibre ready to step up. A champion of continuous improvement and passionate about engaging and developing people, this individual will need to display a track record of delivering operational improvement and strategic development. Experience of leading large teams, and working in large factories in a unionised environment would be advantageous. A good technical knowledge of manufacturing is essential, and you will come from a FMCG background and be passionate about developing your career within an ambitious and driven business.
