The Client is a medium sized manufacturing business, a subsidiary of an International Group which is engaged in the design and manufacture of a broad range of equipment used within the food and processing industry sectors. The company has in addition to its UK Head Office, manufacturing in the USA, Czech Republic and China and it has an established sales and engineering force totalling circa 75 staff in the UK and Europe. 

It manufactures metal detection, check weighing, needle detection and x-ray inspection systems and sells its products direct to end users in the food industry primarily but it also supplies the textiles and pharmaceuticals sectors. It sells internationally through a network of distributors and Operating Companies. This is an enhanced role reporting to the Managing Director and it takes responsibility for supporting new and after sales business worth in the region of £30 million per annum.

The role is a broad ranging marketing one with significant emphasis on supporting the sales and service teams through the provision of the effective marketing tools and strategies, managing the relationship with PR Agencies and Web Development companies, developing direct marketing tools along with e- marketing and to capitalise on the existing after sales business with creative customer contact programs using a CRM system. Considerable scope and autonomy will be given and this is an ideal opportunity for a Graduate qualified marketeer ideally with a CIM Diploma who has come from a B2B marketing environment ideally with some knowledge of supplying into the food industry. You could have worked in capital products, consumer products or components and you will be looking for an opportunity to grow your career in a global company with strong ambitions and significant growth potential.
