Salary Details : circa £45k basic, plus £10k Bonus + car
Avery Weigh-Tronix is a $200m multinational engineering group and the UK’s largest manufacturer of Industrial weighing equipment and solutions.
Objective of role :
The objective of this role will be to take responsibility for the total strategic and operational requirements of the Weighbridge Sales team in order to exploit all revenue and growth opportunities with new and existing Weighbridge customers.
Main duties and responsibilities:
People Management
• To take overall responsibility for the management, motivation and efficiency of the Weighbridge Sales team, through terms and conditions of employment, training and inspirational leadership style.
• To carry out regular meetings with direct reports to support, assess workloads, identify priorities, review action taken and agree future action plans.
Strategic Responsibilities
• To develop direction and strategy for the Sales team with responsibility for defining and implementing the operational and sales goals.
• To prepare and review budgets for the team, striving continuously to ensure the achievement of financial targets and control of operational costs.
Commercial Responsibilities
• To devise and implement strategies to exploit all opportunities in order to maximise all revenue opportunities with new and existing Weighbridge customers.
• To play a key role in maintaining and building effective and profitable relationships with Weighbridge customers, acting as a senior point of contact for any escalated issues.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
Significant and relevant people management experience;
Customer Service experience, preferably within a service operation environment;
High level of negotiation and customer-facing interpersonal skills with both customers and suppliers;
Experience of dealing with Senior Managers and Directors both within own company and customer organisations;
Results-driven;
Influential and assertive, promoting presence and credibility.
