Our client is one of the UK`s most established and respected brands with annual sales in excess of £8 billion. With ambitious growth plans on the horizon they are looking for an experienced New Business Manager to help drive sales and maintain their leadership position in a new, competitive marketplace.
As New Business Manage, DM agencies , you will be responsible for creating and engaging ongoing relationships with agency Account Directors, Planners and the agency board. This will be achieved by ensuring the most effective positioning of the business and direct mail with this audience. Specific responsibilities will include -
oTo deliver both direct and indirect revenue targets. This will be achieved by working with key personnel in DM agencies to identify new business opportunities, exercising high level concept sales skills oTo identify, create and close new business sales opportunities oDelivering the strategic growth of the new business opportunities oWorking directly with DM agencies, you will also seek to enhance perceptions of mail as an effective marketing/communications tool and will engage DM agencies as advocates or true sales channels
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the agency sector and media markets. You will also have extensive understanding of Direct Marketing principals and appreciation of direct mail as a medium and its place in the media mix.
The ability to create and deliver imaginative and profitable business solutions is also a pre-requisite
