A Non-Executive Director is required for a growing Martial Arts media Company which includes TV production, content distribution and Online TV, based in London.
We are looking for candidates with a successful background in advertising sales and experience in TV/New Media, who will be able to make a major strategic contribution to the company and add focus and experience to help this company establish itself as a major player.

It will be beneficial if the Non-Executive Director wishes to become a shareholder in the Company to align the incoming NED’s interests with that of the existing Directors who are shareholders.

We are also looking for a Non-Executive Finance Director.

1. The Market:

• There is huge worldwide demand for martial arts media; movies, video games & magazines.
• Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is the world’s fastest growing sport and there are over 150
million martial arts practitioners worldwide.

2. The Company & the Product:

• Our client is an early stage media group serving the martial arts community through online TV, TV production and distribution.
• Global digital TV operations are in the pipeline.
• Our client has a number of online distribution and marketing deals including with Guba, MySpace, Facebook, Google, Joost, YouTube, Yahoo, Veoh, Verizon & Virgin Media. We have over 275,000 video views on YouTube.
• Our client’s end goal is a globally successful martial arts media company built around the central focus of a broadcast channel.

3. Non-Executive Director Requirements:

• Our client recognises the need to create a strong, reputable and high profile board structure for the Company and wishes to bring in two high calibre Non Execs.
• We are looking for candidates with a successful background in advertising sales and experience in TV/New Media who will be able to make a major strategic contribution to the company and add focus and experience to help this company establish itself as a major player.
• A successful business background is sought with a history of building early stage companies and maximising value to the point of exit.
• American Media / Asian Culture exposure especially appreciated.
