Background

My client is an exciting and rapidly growing company in the corporate IT managed services sector. The Partner Sales Team has successfully been growing business via Channel Partners for a number of years. As a result of my client’s recent rapid growth they are now looking to recruit an experienced Partner Sales Manager.

Role and responsibilities

· Lead a sales team of c10+ staff
· Develop and execute my client’s sales strategy via Channel Partners in the UK
· Inspire and lead the Partner Sales Team
· Maximise business from a large existing base or Channel Partners
· Develop new Partners
· Develop an annual business plan
· Set targets, monitor KPI’s, coach and mentor team
· Provide feedback and input to the Product Management Team to ensure that services are developed to meet the demands of Channel Partners

Key skills and attributes

· Track record of strong sales, leadership and team building
· Build strong consultative relationships with new and existing customers
· 7+ years IT, Managed hosting and telecoms sales experience
· 3+ years channel sales management experience of working in an IT services company
· Strong track record in hosting and applications management
· Sales experience in the Channel market in the UK
· Commercial business acumen
· Degree educated preferred
· Strong analytical approach to solving problems
